Manaka
Unsui Sensei |
| After nearly forty years of studying ancient techniques of the ninja and samurai, Manaka Sensei founded the Jinenkan with the express purpose of ensuring the lessons of generations past were not lost to history. He recognized that modern students of martial arts were missing out on the practicality on which previous generations had focused in order to protect themselves, their families and their livelihoods. He brings us everything from the most basic techniques to the most advanced unarmed and weapons training; his frequent trips to the United States and Europe ensure that today's students have the opportunity to train with a living legend. We invite you to learn from his legacy- and even directly from him! Join our dojo to benefit from the years of study of a true ninja! | |

Peter Steeves |
| Though he now lives and trains in the United States, Peter Steeves remembers well his twenty years of martial arts study, including five years of training he received under Manaka Sensei in Japan. He applies those teachings daily in his classes in West Los Angeles. He returned to this country specifically in order to open a dojo and transmit those lessons to students for whom travel to Japan is impractical. Teaching everyone from toddlers to grandparents to Guardian Angels, he enjoys the knowledge that he has something to bring to the lives of each and every person that trains at his dojo- confidence, mental and physical strength, improved awareness and safety, and the chance to learn something truly unique and special- martial arts techniques hundreds of years old. He has also written an eBook to help with your rapid advancement in Samurai Sword training. You can talk to him daily in Los Angeles to find out why so many people call him "Sensei"- teacher! | |
